We worked for severalmonths in early 2021 with the Officeof the Internal County Auditor tocomplete an independent financialanalysis. It was published in June.The findings were not surprising.Bottom line: Our budget is tied tothe County’s financial health, andpersonnel costs make up the mostsignificant part of our budget, whichis to be expected in a 24/7 operation.Personnel costs will always be ourgreatest financial investment.I believe the report will help taxpayers understand how their dollarsare used by our office.
