STORYTELLING FELLOWS
4TH WORLD MEDIA LAB
The Storytelling Fellowship is a
yearlong program which aims to
support and amplify the work of
extremely talented and seasoned,
Indigenous storytelling creatives (of
multiple mediums) within Nia Tero’s
priority regions (Pasifika, Amazonia,
and Boreal) as well as globally. The
Storytelling Fellows program builds
capacity for Indigenous creatives as
individuals and for their communities
and for the visibility of Indigenous
leadership in storytelling.
The 4th World Media Lab provides
Indigenous creators a progressive
immersion into film learning and film
exploration ranging from storytelling
basics and pitching, to presentation
and marketing, to distribution and
industry networking. The lab includes
residencies at Camden International
Film Festival in Maine, Big Sky Documentary Festival in Montana, and
Seattle International Film Festival
in Washington State.
