The LSU gymnastics team has made it to the NCAA Championshipsnine times in school history and has finished in the top rankings at thechampionships in each of the past few seasons. They surely did notdisappoint this year. The Tigers concluded the 2023 season with a teamscore of 197.525 in the NCAA Championship Final to finish fourth nationally.They held a superb score of 49.525 on vault which tied them for highestat a championship final and second best at an NCAA Championship forthe program. Bryant recorded the highest ever all-around score for LSUin the NCAA Championships with her score of 39.725. “I am just so proudof this team. They are such a special group. I just wanted to enjoy theride and take it as far as we possibly could,” said head coach Jay Clark.“We’ve been riding the wave and going where it takes us. The adversityof this team has been spoken about so much and you saw the fight inthem today. At the end of the meet, I just told them how in awe I amof them. I want them to enjoy these moments.” Tiger gymnastics endsthe 2023 season winning the Tiger Cup Award, which recognizes the LSUsports team with the highest total achievement in academics, communityservice, and athletics.
