We’re spotlighting
CAMP OUT FOR KIDS
this year for supporting us
in three consecutive years,
donating a total of over $70,000 via
grants! They help us maintain our
no-cost model and support children from
low-income backgrounds who attend our
camp programs across the country.
Camp Out for Kids was founded in 2008
by Marc Lifshin, Brian Neiswender, Barry
Howard, and Brian Goldberg. As former
campers, Marc, Brian, Barry, and Brian
understood the magic of summer camp and
how it could make a difference in children’s
lives. They also knew that the cost of summer
camp was a limitation for many families.
Their first year, with the generous support
of family, friends, volunteers, and corporate
sponsors, Camp Out for Kids raised $10,000
and sent 22 Chicago-area children and
youth to a summer camp of their choice.
Fifteen years later, Camp Out for Kids
has raised over $4.3 million and sent over
7,300 kids to summer camps around the
country — including Experience Camps.
We’re grateful for their support, and we
appreciate that they’ve given the camp
experience to so many kids over the last 15 years.
