A new Account Handler for the
Newcastle Farm and Estates
team, Alex joined Lycetts in
October from a small
family-run insurance broker.
Before that he was a
Membership Executive for the
North East Chamber of
Commerce. Married in July, he is
interested in films, food and
travel.
With a background in National
Hunt Racing, having worked
for Ben Pauling and Jonjo
O’Neill, and as assistant trainer
and secretary to Charlie
Longsdon, Amber joined the
Lycetts Newmarket office as an
Account Handler in January
2023. She works on bloodstock
insurance and equine liability
accounts.
Rebecca joined Lycetts in
March as a Trainee Account
Handler, but has now moved to
an Admin Assistant role within
the Edinburgh office. An
Applied Maths graduate, she
has moved with her family from
the US, to Switzerland and then
France and is now happily
settled in Scotland.
Hannah joined the Premium
Finance Team at Lycetts
Newcastle office in June. Prior
to this she had spent seven
years in the Civil Service in a
range of roles, including as a
Border Force Officer before
then moving to Allianz
Insurance for a year.
A RAU graduate, Hugh joined
the Charlbury office in February
from an underwriting syndicate
based in Lloyds. He is an
Account Executive and has his
Cert CII. A qualified ski
instructor and keen bag pipe
player, Hugh is also passionate
about country sports and
serves in the army reserves
with the Honourable Artillery
Company.

After a long career with a
number of insurance firms,
Perry joined Lycetts London
office from Towergate in May.
He is an Account Handler,
LLIMIT qualified for Lloyds of
London with specialisms
include PI, Financial Lines,
Cyber and Real Estate. He is
also a keen rugby player and
coach.
Joining the Newcastle based
underwriting team in July
straight from sixth form, Anna
is a trainee underwriter on the
EIG scheme, working alongside
Roy Gilbey, and learning as she
goes. Her interests include
cooking, shopping and walking
her dog Pom Pom.
With previous roles at Platinum
Underwriting and SPF Private
Clients, Grace joined the Lycetts
London office in June as an
Account Handler. She is working
towards her Cert CII
qualification while keeping busy
at the stables, watching the
rugby, playing the flute and
viola, and as a senior bishop’s
chorister.
Liam joined the Lycetts
Newcastle office as an Account
Handler in May from Clegg
Gifford Insurance. A history
graduate, he has worked in
insurance since 2015 and is now
studying for his Cert CII. Liam is
a keen Newcastle United fan
and also enjoys running.
Mick has 25 years’ experience in
the insurance industry, latterly
with Clegg Gifford Insurance,
and joined the Lycetts
Newcastle office in November
as an Account Handler in the
Private Client team. He is a
Sunderland fan and likes UK
weekend breaks, live music and
sporting events.

Prior to joining Lycetts Financial
Services in Newcastle in July
2023, Ben worked for Virgin
Direct and several small
independent firms before
building his own independent
financial services business in
2012. His role includes
regulatory compliance, adviser
and administrative operations
alongside client advice.
After six years working for an
insurance broker, Nicole
worked in vehicle leasing for
two years before joining Lycetts
Oxford office as an Account
Handler in November. She is a
keen horse rider and enjoys
fitness and strength training.
She and her partner have seven
children between them.
Arabella joined Lycetts in June
as Marketing Executive working
between the Newcastle and
Norfolk offices. After graduating
from Newcastle University, she
briefly worked in fashion before
moving to a marketing role with
International Racecourse
Management. Outside of work
she competes with her horses
and enjoys spending time with
friends.
Conor joined the Lycetts
Edinburgh office in March as a
Trainee Account Handler. After
graduating from Stirling
University with a degree in
Environmental Science, he
worked for Heineken as an
e-commerce customer adviser.
He is a keen sportsman,
especially interested in rugby,
football and golf.
Graduating from Edinburgh
University with a degree in
History of Art, Henry joined the
Lycetts Northampton office in
September. He is a Trainee
Account Executive, studying for
his CII certificate and building
his own professional network.
His hobbies include rugby,
shooting, visiting galleries and
supporting Derby County and
Northampton Saints.
