Having worked in the horse
racing industry for 12 years,
followed by a spell in equine
shipping, Emily joined the
Lycetts Newmarket office in
April as an Account Handler.
Her role includes looking after
equestrian liability and
property. She plays the piano
and works a gun dog.
Jasmine joined the Lycetts
Yorkshire office in June after
a nine-year career in the
Royal Artillery. She is an
Assistant Account Handler,
responsible for processing new
business, renewals and
amendments to clients’ policies.
She enjoys spending time with
family and friends, dog walking
and eating out.
New to insurance, having
previously worked as a medical
secretary, for British Transport
Police and in various other
roles, Joan joined the Lycetts
Ludlow office as an Assistant
Account Handler in September.
Passionate about horses, Joan
lives on the family farm with
her husband, with an interest in
and aspiration to breed
Hereford cattle.
Having moved to Surrey, and
with 13 years of experience in
the insurance industry, Catie
joined the Lycetts Godalming
office in November as an
Account Handler. She is
studying for her DIP CII but is
also a Mental Health First Aider,
scuba diver and windsurfer.
Julie joined Lycetts Newcastle
office in April as Receptionist/
Administrator. Before that she
worked at Ponteland High
School for 17 years. When she
was younger, she was in the Sea
Cadets and sailed on TS
Royalist. She loves to go for long
walks and being with her
grandchildren.

Dakkan joined Lycetts Financial
Services in January as an
Independent Financial Adviser
to work with individuals,
families and businesses to
achieve their financial goals.
Currently working towards
chartered status, he is a
football and rugby fan, and,
brought up on a farm, has some
insight to the financial planning
challenges farmers face.
Ankush joined the Motor
department of Lycetts
Newcastle office in June,
from Clegg Gifford Insurance.
His career started as a ship
broker, and he then moved into
the Merchant Navy before
moving to insurance 17 years
ago. He is Cert CII qualified and
working towards his DIP CII.
Elle rode horses professionally,
show jumping and eventing for
12 years, before taking a role in
the property world. She joined
Lycetts Marlborough office in
April and now works as an
Account Handler where she
deals with clients with
bloodstock and liability risks.
Matthew joined the Lycetts
Edinburgh office in August as a
Trainee Account Handler.
Throughout university he
worked in retail, landing a
trainee role with Lycetts on
graduation. He has a degree in
music from Aberdeen
University and is a bass player,
badminton player and Esports
enthusiast.
Before joining the Lycetts
Newmarket office in November
as an Assistant Account
Handler, Daniel had gained a
wealth of experience in sales
and national account
management roles. He has a
BTEC National Diploma in
Business and Finance and
enjoys being active: swimming,
cycling and running.

In March, Ella joined the Motor
department in the Lycetts
Newcastle office. With a First in
Sociology and Criminology she
says that autism has forced her
to face many challenges but
she has never felt more
supported in the workplace
than she has at Lycetts.
Having graduated with a BA
(Hons) in Business Economics,
Jack joined the Lycetts
Newcastle office Motor
department as an Assistant
Account Handler in September.
He played rugby and cricket to a
high standard, touring South
America, and is a keen horse
racing enthusiast.
Having worked in a Secondary
School in South London for
three years, Katie joined Lycetts
Newcastle office in May as a
Trainee Underwriter. She
creates and completes
renewals and processes
mid-term adjustments for farm
and estate clients. She is also a
netball enthusiast and claw
machine addict.
Santi moved from Buenos Aires
and continues to study for his
degree in Digital Business
Orientated Management
remotely. He joined the Lycetts
Edinburgh office in March as a
Trainee Account Handler.
Having worked in the family
vineyard he feels at home
working with farms and estates.
Another recruit to the Lycetts
Motor department in
Newcastle, Emily came from
a car insurance background
and took on the role of
Assistant Account Handler
in September. She assists
clients with motor renewals,
mid-term adjustments and any
queries. She enjoys live music
with her friends.
