Based on a true story, this short film is a romantic comedy set in the 80s, following a
young Gretta who one summer day by chance meets the boy of her dreams, Rene.
Alongside their respective friends, they get to spend the entire summer together,
and they become best friends. By the end of the summer, Gretta has developed deep
feelings for Rene, but it seems that they aren’t reciprocated.

inspired him to join the military himself shortly after the tragedies of 9/11 and eventually
volunteer for a combat deployment to Afghanistan where he would begin to carve a
path of self-rescue from his own tragic childhood.
