OUR VISION 2024-2027
Our ambition is to drive radical change:
To tackle childhood book poverty across the UK through
sustainable use of unwanted books. In doing so to support the
emotional wellbeing, educational attainment and prospects
of some of the country's most disadvantaged children.
Through long-term relationships with
targeted organisations (schools, community
groups and other charities) and via an
efficient mechanic for the collection and
redistribution of pre-loved and new surplus
books nationwide we will create sustainable
book-rich communities where children have
repeated opportunities to select and own
multiple books of their own. One day these
children in turn can share their books
onwards once no longer needed.
WE WANT TO:
MAKE RE-USE THE NORM
EMPOWER EMERGING READERS
FOSTER READING COMMUNITIES
COLLABORATE WITH OTHERS
REMAIN SINGLE-MINDED
