Franklin is the home of Johnson County’s
historic Courthouse and a one-of-a-kind business
community in its downtown area. With almost
26,000 residents, Franklin has a thriving industrial
base while also being home to a highly rated
liberal arts school, Franklin College.
Greenwood is the largest city in Johnson
County with over 65,000 residents and shares
the northern county line with Indy. Greenwood
lives up to its name by having 15 parks and 20+
miles of trailways while also maintaining popular
commercial centers and a historic downtown.
The title of fastest growing community in the
region belongs to Bargersville. From a small
country settlement to a thriving town, Bargersville
is on track to continue growing while its
businesses and residents work to preserve its rural
heritage.
Whiteland is a small, close-knit community that
is supporting a growing population. Whiteland’s
safe neighborhoods, great school system and
beloved local attractions such as Whiteland
Raceway Park make the town an ideal home for
families and small businesses.
