We expanded our
community in the
metaverse.
Last May, Experience Camps led
a talk-back after Audible Theater’s
production of Michael Cruz Kayne’s
one-person show, “Sorry For Your
Loss.” Kayne, an Emmy-nominated
writer for “The Late Show with
Stephen Colbert,” created this
funny and heartfelt show about life
and death that cuts through the
platitudes of grief and gets real.
Afterward, our clinical experts took
to the stage to answer questions
from the audience about navigating
grief and finding support.
In year two of our ExperienceCraft
program, children and teens
explored the vibrant world of
Minecraft with other grieving kids.
Through partnerships with
Boys & Girls Clubs and local
bereavement centers across the
country, our player community
expanded and maintained their
connections throughout the year.
With nearly 5,000 hours of play
since its inception, this platform is
meeting kids where they are and
providing a unique outlet for socialemotional growth and clinically
informed play through gaming.
