H O U S EWith a lineup full of talent, LSU baseball released its 2023 poster, calling itself“The Powerhouse of College Baseball.” The nickname serves as a nod toboth the players and the fans who always bring the energy to the stadium.On Thursday, March 30, the opening night of the Tennessee series brokethe home game attendance record, with 13,068 fans packed into AlexBox. Whether the game is at home or away, you can count on LSU fans tocreate an electric environment, and the players respond accordingly. DylanCrews and Tommy White boast some of the best bats in the nation, whileright-handed pitcher Paul Skenes and multi-time SEC All-Defensive teammember Tre’ Morgan take care of things on the field. The Tigers expect tohave a presence in the MLB draft, with Crews and Skenes both prospectivetop picks. The pair has been awarded several honors. Skenes was namedthe 2023 SEC Pitcher of the Year and is making a run at LSU’s single-seasonstrikeout record.
