donated to those committees. This shell game
- moving money from one PAC to another gives donors plausible deniability.
What is plausible deniability? This means that
a donor can make a claim that they had
nothing to do with a PAC. When there is no
direct relationship between their donation and
the PAC putting out political messaging, the
donor can make a case that they aren’t
responsible.
