The Biological Engineering Student Organization is a pre-professional
organization that aims to inform students of all majors and classifications
about careers and research in the field of Biological and Agricultural
Engineering. BESO holds periodic meetings for its members which often
involve guest speakers and informative discussions of interest for every
BE undergrad including important information about applying for grad
school and med school as well as starting careers in various industries.
Annual events include the Spring BESO Crawfish Boil and the Fall Potato &
Rice BESO Fundraising Sale.
