Suggested activities (continued):
• Pupils can use the multilingual cards or the seven-day poster with the days of the week, which they might have
created during previous classes, to say/show when they usually do some activities/play some sports
• Pupils can be encouraged to spot similarities in spelling and pronunciation across different languages
• Ask pupils to try to memorise the sports by using any strategy they prefer, before you play a game of how many they
can remember. Give them time to memorise, then play the game
• Ask them to note their preferred strategies on page 9 of the Language Passport.
