Moud Garden
Moud Garden, like Moud Mahi, is often seen as a classic oriental design. The Moud
Garden rugs show patterns and designs from traditional Persian gardens in small
rectangles. These smaller shapes are normally only seen in Bakhtiari rugs. The
colours in the Moud Garden rugs are predominantly blue or red, and feature an
ivory or beige background that lets the colours come to life and stand out. The
rugs have knot densities of 250,000 – 350,000 knots per sqm.
As a general rule, Moud rugs vary greatly in quality and choosing the right rug is
important. Special attention must also be paid to the material used for the knotting.
These fine rugs have a high silk content which has been incorporated into the individual details that allow them to shine in the light.
