Announcing a new
camp location for
summer 2025!
Drum roll, please…our next camp
will be at Camp KenMont and
KenWood in Kent, CT! We chose
this state because of the steadily
increasing demand in the Northeast,
capacity limits at our Maine and
Pennsylvania programs, and clearly
identified needs in underserved
communities throughout CT.
We’re excited to engage new
communities and friends so close to
our headquarters in Westport, CT.
Love and
friendship ripples
There’s no question that camp has created
thousands of friendships for campers and volunteers alike. We’ve created more than
a handful of lifelong connections, including one that led to marriage. Liz and Dan
met volunteering for Experience Camps in Maine in 2014. In 2022, they celebrated
their marriage at Camp Manitou (our host camp for Experience Camps boys in
Maine) and introduced friends and family to their love of camp (including a
giant game of dodgeball and so many s’mores). This September, they
welcomed their daughter Adeline (Addie), who will no doubt
be an Experience Camps volunteer one day, too!
