NEW ADDITIONS
MANDO
K9 Mando joined the team in April of 2021, along with Deputy Colburn.
Mando gets his name from the Star Wars character Mandalorian. Mando
and Colburn passed canine certifications in June 2021 and are currently
assigned to support the narcotics team. Mando is trained to locate
methamphetamine, heroin, and cocaine. In February of 2023, Mando
was trained and certified to find fentanyl as well. Mando is half German
Shepherd and half Belgian Malinois. In less than two years, Mando has
been deployed over 70 times and has located about 250lbs of narcotics
and over 300k in cash proceeds from narcotics sales.
