Overview:
An ability to express our likes and dislikes is one of the first things we like to master when we learn a new language.
Children often talk about hobbies and various other likes and dislikes when they are getting to know each other. In
the next series of activities, pupils will learn to recognise and use some very basic vocabulary and action words, as
well as engage with simple ways to express their likes and dislikes.
Learning intentions:
Through various learning experiences, pupils should be able to…
• Express likes and dislikes
• Recognise words for common hobbies
• Share one of their favourite things to do
