The Mitre Players
50th Anniversary Year
This has been a bumper year for the
Mitre Players as we have been
celebra}ng our 50th Anniversary! Our
plans included a performance, social
or other event every month of this
celebratory year and we certainly
managed to pull it o昀昀!
The year began with us half-way
through our inaugural event - the
return of the much-loved New Year9s
Party at the Clubhouse. Not only did a
whole host of members and friends
see in the new year with us but it also
gave us a chance to look forward to
another 50 years in a dazzling display
of golden gli琀琀er and sparkles.
We swivly moved into February9s
performances of Isla with which we
entered the Southern Coun}es Drama
Fes}val to much acclaim, and March
saw us descend on Surrey Na}onal
Golf Course for our Anniversary Ball.
