More Campuses
Make Learning
More Convenient
Alumni and current students
rave about the convenience
of taking classes on Smith’s
satellite campuses, located in
Baltimore, Rockville, Md., and
Washington, D.C.
“The convenience of the
location and the relationships
built have made obtaining my
MBA at the Smith Shady Grove
campus a great experience.”
— Mildred Diggs, MBA ’24
“Attending classes at Smith’s
Baltimore campus allowed me
to collaborate in person with
my classmates and professors.
I formed relationships that will
last far beyond my time in the
MBA program.”
— Vanessa Gemma, MBA ’23
Now the Smith School is taking over a wing of the
building previously occupied by the School of Public
Policy, which moved to a new building last year.
That renovation and other recent upgrades include
new furniture1 so students can sit and work together,
technology-enabled hybrid classrooms2, collaborative
learning spaces3 and new studios for faculty to
teach virtually4. New technology runs throughout
Van Munching Hall, including real-time stock tickers5
and digital displays. It’s all with the goal of keeping the
building ready to support the next generation of learners.

“I thoroughly enjoyed classes on
the D.C. campus as it provided

with world-class professors and
a diverse and talented group
of students in a convenient
downtown location.”
— Ryan Carter, MBA ’23
