Therefore, the Philippines’ authorities do
not ensure that the CoPs are issued in a
format
stating
that
the
relevant
requirements of training, competencies or
seagoing service in the Convention have
been met by the holder, in accordance with
the definitions of CoP, as well as with the
definition of CoC and the formats
stipulated for endorsements for the issue of
certificates, as provided for by the STCW
Convention.
