cancer? Cancer doesn’t run in my family. That was my thought,” said Aleasa Barry.
Even so, Barry was diligent about getting her annual mammogram.
She’s glad she did. The mammogram caught an early-stage breast cancer.
“Me following that simple procedure to get my mammogram on a timely basis is what,
I think, saved me,” she said. “And I was grateful to have that.”
