Recycling is
the way to a
greener world
DAMPA has a strong focus on sustainability in
our work with steel and aluminum. Besides a
long lifespan of more than 50 years, metal also
has the huge advantage that it can be recycled
over and over, without losing its strength and
mechanical properties.
At DAMPA we are accelerating our sustainable
initiatives, which means, among other things,
a completely new aluminum consisting of 75%
post-consumer aluminum.
In the work with recycled aluminum, we
differentiate between whether the recycled
material comes from internal processes or from
post-consumer, where the aluminum has been
another product.

Since we set requirements for the aluminum
to have been out among the consumers, there
are not unimaginable quantities.
