E FAIR
The Greater Baton Rouge State
Fair is open for people of any
age to enjoy wholesome family
entertainment. The fair started
in 1965 as a trade show and
carnival and has changed
into a huge state fair located
near Airline Highway Park and
Fairground. Each year the
Greater Baton Rouge State
Fair donates to the Baton
Rouge State Fair Foundation.
This all-volunteer run fair offers
lots of fun activities anyone
can enjoy. In the fair there is a
livestock show, carnival, beer
garden, fair food, agriculture
shows, games, entertainment,
and a petting zoo. The dates
for the fair are towards the end
of October til the beginning of
November.
