LATINX NIGHT
LSU’s Latinx Center and Office of Multicultural held Latinx Cultural
Night on September 30th, 2023 in the Student Union Ballroom. It’s
an important event that celebrates Latinx culture and heritage
with food, performances, and dance lessons. Additionally,
Latinx Cultural Nights can serve as a platform for Latinx artists,
musicians, and performers to showcase their talents. This is vital in
elevating the voices and perspectives of Latinx individuals and
communities; heightening representation and visibility. Latinx night
can also serve as a way to educate others about the diversity
and richness of Latinx cultures, while also providing a space for
members of the Latinx community to connect with one another
and celebrate their shared identities.
