AT HOLLINGS?
I've been at HCC pharmacy for 2 years
and counting.
Outside of work I would say my passion is
baking. I started baking as a little girl and still
now try to find time to bake old recipes or
find something new and different. It's always
something I do to unwind and de-stress.
What I like most about working at Hollings is
how kind and appreciative our patients are,
despite what they're going through. So many
of them take the time to thank you and really
make you feel appreciated for all your hard
work. It's very rewarding.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS JOB?
I chose this job because I am able to see
patients through their cancer journey. I
love laughing and speaking with them.
It's important to me to ask how they
are doing and fill their medications in a
timely manner. I want them to enjoy
their pharmacy experience.
WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?
I grew up in a small community,
Saint Stephen, about an hour outside
of Charleston.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING
TO DO IN CHARLESTON?
Of course, my favorite thing to do in
Charleston is eat and enjoy the beaches.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE MEAL?
Outside of the pharmacy, I enjoy cooking
and baking. My
favorite meal is
Mexican food. That is
my guilty pleasure.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY
AND/OR PETS.
I have a 5-month-old son named Kingston
and a little poodle named Kash. They are
my absolute world. It's definitely a new thing
going from dog mom to human mom but I'm
loving every second of it!
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE MEAL?
My favorite meal is Japanese hibachi shrimp
and steak with fried rice.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE THING TO
DO IN CHARLESTON?
My favorite thing to do down here is go to
the beach. I love a nice beach day with my
boyfriend or my cousins. And I can't wait for
my son to get older so
he can love our beach
days, too!
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS JOB?
I was looking for a change outside of the
hospital and bedside nursing. A friend from
home has been an infusion nurse for several
years and recommended I look for a position.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY
AND/OR PETS.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to
convince my family to leave New York, so
my Charleston family includes my boyfriend,
Owen, the friends I've made over the last
seven years, and my cat, Penelope.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE THING
TO DO IN CHARLESTON?
Kayaking or boating. To me,
nothing is better than
being on the water.
