Voting anonymously
If you think that your name or address being on
the electoral register could affect your safety or
the safety of someone in your household you can
register to vote anonymously.
Please find more information on the Electoral
Commission’s website on how to register to vote
anonymously.
If you choose to vote in person, you will also need
to apply for an Anonymous Elector’s Document.
If you have registered to vote anonymously you
will be invited to apply for an Anonymous Elector’s
Document by your local council. You can see further
information on the Electoral Commission’s website.
