Seggiano pasta is bronze drawn, which gives it a
rough, matte texture that binds with sauces.
Spaghetti alla Chitarra gets its name from the
guitar-like wooden frame with strings that the
pasta is pushed through. Spaghetti is a favourite
with tomato basil sauce or alla vongole, with clams.
Long, narrow flat linguine pasta is the
most popular choice to combine with
pesto sauces.

gigli, or lilies, which they roughly resemble.
Their frills are great for holding chunky
sauces, like puttanesca.
Fusilli translates to little spindles and
their corkscrew shape is great for
holding both thick and thin sauces.
With a distinct, large tubular shape, this pasta is
sometimes stuffed and baked. It’s delicious with
creamy mushrooms, with a red pesto, or a simple
tomato basil sauce.
