Nature Tips for Menopause Relief
Here are a few things that helped me, and maybe they’ll help you too:
Take a Walk: Even a 10-minute stroll in your neighborhood can work
wonders. Walk slowly and use your senses to connect with nature. For
example, notice the scent of fresh rain or the sound of birds chirping.
Breathe Deeply: Find a cozy spot under your favorite tree. Close your eyes,
listen to the sounds around you, and breathe in the fresh air.
Practice Mindfulness: Focus on your footsteps or the rustle of leaves. Let
your mind settle for a few moments.
Feel the Ground: Take a pause and notice the earth beneath your feet. It’s a
simple way to feel connected and steady.
Connect with Others: Sometimes, joining a nature walk or a small group
can lift your spirits. Sharing the experience makes it even more special.
My NaturePause Walks and Retreats
I started NaturePause walks to share this magic with other women. On these
monthly walks, we take time to slow down and reconnect with nature and
ourselves. Through gentle movement, forest bathing, grounding, and other nature
therapy practices, I guide participants toward more calm, clarity, and connection.
And if you feel like you need more time for yourself, consider joining one of our
weekend retreats. We dive deeper into nature therapy, giving you a chance to
recharge in a beautiful, supportive setting.
The Big Takeaway
Menopause is a natural part of life. It’s a season of change, just like summer turns
to fall. I learned that embracing these changes, rather than fighting them, can
open the door to new beginnings. Nature taught me every moment of transition
can be a chance for growth. By simply stepping outside, you can find a bit of
peace, a touch of strength, a smile, and maybe even a connection to something
bigger than yourself. The next time you feel overwhelmed, remember: a gentle
walk or a moment in nature might be just what you need.
