Hope Center Food Pantry
The HOPE Center Keuka Food Pantry serves as the
main food pantry for Yates County and is a turning
point for individuals and families seeking to move
toward self-reliance. The pantry works to stabilize
families in economic crisis and support them as they
strive for self-reliance and a better future. During 2023,
the Hope Center distributed 2,282 boxes (over 11,400
meals) and 7,945 boxes of fresh and perishable food via
a self-serve program. Generous funders, donors, and 10
volunteers who gave 1,115 hours made it happen!
Women’s Health
Spreading Holiday Cheer
Since 2018, grant funding provided to Pro Action
from the Fund for Women of the Southern Tier via
the Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the
Finger Lakes has provided menstrual products to local
schools, food pantries, and community organizations
for free. In 2023, 12,500 products were provided to
an estimated 4,500 menstruating individuals.
With the help of many community volunteers,
(including the Amazon facility in Bath, pictured) Pro
Action's Community Action Angels Holiday program
provided assistance to 113 children and 36 families
in 2023.
