With the 昀椀lm and television industries e昀昀ectively shut down by striking unions over the summer and
fall, awards shows, and red-carpet premieres were canceled. This left a void for fashion and trend
watchers the world over. Except there was a perfect storm of high-wattage women waiting in the wings
to turn their sold-out concert tours into signi昀椀cant fashion moments.
Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour and Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour topped the year’s rankings in most
popular and lucrative tours. The one-two punch of the music industry’s most in昀氀uential female artists
has also impacted fashion and lingerie trends to no small degree.
Fold in artists like Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Dua Lipa, and Kylie Minogue, and their fashion-forward
statements in昀氀uence consumers to layer lingerie-inspired elements into their own wardrobes.
