NLP District Fellowship Program
In 2022, we launched the NLP District Fellowship Program for
districts interested in reimagining news literacy learning on
a large scale. Each year, districts are selected for a two-year
commitment to develop sustainable, replicable and impactful
media and news literacy learning plans with support from NLP.
To learn more, contact Shaelynn Farnsworth, senior director
of education partnership strategy, sfarnsworth@newslit.org.

Education Partnerships
The News Literacy Project partners with school districts, local
education agencies and state departments of education across
the country to offer planning, expertise and support for creating
or expanding news literacy instruction. When you partner
with NLP, we’ll help you implement resources and programs
into your news and media literacy curricula at no cost.
As your partners, we are committed to developing meaningful
impacts that are integral to helping young people become better
informed, more engaged and more empowered individuals.
