The Growth Impact Fund (GIF)
offers social purpose organisations
investment, and supports entrepreneurs
to grow their impact. GIF supports
organisations that are focused
on tackling inequity, and have
diverse representation at board and
leadership level. It is a joint venture
between UnLtd, Big Issue Invest,
and Shift designed to make social
investment better for founders from
underrepresented backgrounds and
their teams. HL BaSE provided legal
advice to investees of the fund.
The fund’s first investment was in a
tech-for-good organisation that builds
neurodivergent talent pools for leading
corporates and universities. GIF
invested £300,000 in neurodivergent
talent platform Neuropool, which aims
to get more than 10,000 neurodivergent
people into employment by 2030.
