A/Prof Ines Rio is a specialist general practitioner
at North Richmond Community Health, Chief Medical
Officer at Monash University, and GP obstetrician
and Head of the General Practice Liaison Unit at the
Royal Women’s Hospital. She is Chair of North Western
Melbourne Primary Healthcare Network, Director
of Sexual Health Victoria, and member of the TGA’s
Advisory Committee on Vaccines, the National Women’s
Health Advisory Council and Department of Health's
CALD Advisory Group. Ines is passionate about the
central role of general practice and primary care in
the provision of quality, effective and equitable
healthcare for all Australians.
