NewsLitNation®
NewsLitNation is a national membership
community of middle and high school educators
interested in media and news literacy.
Educators who join NewsLitNation gain access to a
supportive, collegial community of news literacy champions
— to convene, grow their practice, share and encourage one
another. Members also have exclusive access to events
and perks to support them in their teaching, and new this
year, the opportunity to earn a News Literacy Educator
Certi昀椀cate through our professional learning platform.
The monthly newsletter, the Insider, in addition to
the NewsLitNation Facebook Group, keeps members
up to date and connected to the newest learning
opportunities and classroom resources.

News Literacy Ambassador Program
Our News Literacy Ambassador Program is a growing
network that supports local efforts to push back
against misinformation toward a mutual objective
of creating a more news-literate generation of news
consumers. Our ambassadors — 20 educators in 17
states — give presentations, organize news literacy
learning events and support the unique needs
of educators and districts in their regions.
