PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING
READ Psalm 22:3
RRADING:
There should be a spirit of confession to God and an acknowledgment of His blessings
with Thanksgiving. Our worship should be so olled with praise and Thanksgiving that the
angels of heaven will rejoice with us. LT 279
Let us catch the spirit of praise and Thanksgiving. Forgetting our own dioculties and
troubles, let us praise God for freedom from sin, and from an opportunity to live for the
glory of his name. MS116

REPENTANCE
READ I JOHN 1:9
READING:
All our sins must be put away. Every darling indulgence that hinders our religious life
must be cut of. 5T. 222
There are a few who feel true sorrow for sin, who have deep, pungent convictions of the
depravity of the unregenerate nature. The heart of stone is not exchanged for a heart of
nesh. You must repent; you must fall helpless on the rock, Christ Jesus. This remedy can
be secured only by repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus
Christ. 5T 218

HOLY SPIRIT
READ JOHN 14:18
READING:
The great outpouring of the spirit of God will not come until we, as an enlightened people,
know by experience what it means to be laborers together with God. When we have
entire, wholehearted consecration to the service of Christ, God will recognize this fact by
an outpouring of His Spirit without measured; but this will not come while the largest
portion of the church are not labors with God. ML 59
