For the first time in school history, theLSU Tigers women’s basketball teamfinished the season as NCAA Women’sDivision I Basketball Champions. Theteam dominated their opponents, theIowa Hawkeyes, with a score of 102-85and finally clinched a championshiptitle win. Kim Mulkey led the Lady Tigersto a 32-2 season in her second seasonas head coach, while superstars AngelReese and Alexis Morris made waveswith their impressive skills and fierceattitudes.
