achieve the prescribed standards of
competence, as required by the STCW
Code, that the simulator training was
designed and tested to confirm their
suitability for the specified training
objectives, and that simulator assessment
included valid and explicit performance
and assessment criteria to enable
objective,
uniform
and
reliable
measurement and evaluation of the
achievement
of
the
competence
standards, in line with the STCW Code.
