Kidney Care Campaign - Presentation - Page 14
We want you by our side as we build
a brighter future for kidney health.
We have a proud history of kidney care in the
province. The second kidney transplant in Canada
was preformed by SPH physicians in Saskatoon
in 1964.6
Since then, thousands of patients with kidney
disease have been treated at St. Paul’s Hospital.
As research and treatments have improved,
home- and community-based dialysis became
an option for patients, improving quality of life
and reducing demand for in-hospital treatment.
But we cannot ignore the steep increase in
kidney disease in Saskatchewan.
THERE ARE MANY
WAYS TO GIVE
We need to be pioneers once again, and address
kidney disease before the need for physician and
hospital care becomes a matter of life and death.
3 A donation today, or a pledge
committed over the course
of the campaign
You play a critical role in helping protect the
people you care about, and ensuring the best
care is there for them – and people across our
province.
3 Donation of securities,
including shares and mutual
funds
3 Leaving a legacy for tomorrow
by including St. Paul’s
Hospital in your will
3 Corporate grants/donations
3 Foundation grants/donations
3 Matching gift donations
We look forward to discussing
your support and opportunities
for recognizing your generosity.
