Paula J Peters Has Lived Her Dream!
Whittemore and Fenton, IA Area
Imagine growing up in a four-generation,
seventeen-room home built in 1906. Paula J
Greinert Peters has lived this dream. Her greatgrandfather, Edward Greinert, took five years to
build their home, and he and his wife, Matilda
Wegener, welcomed four Greinert boys into the
world in the living room where Paula and her
three girls live. Although the home has been
remodeled, the original oak woodwork and
radiators were never replaced. The farm
buildings and the barn that took six years to
build still stand today – the original cattle
stanchions and horse stalls are used for the
show cattle.
