NewsLitCamp is a national, virtual daylong participatory workshop
that brings together educators and journalists to discuss news
literacy and journalism. Topical sessions empower educators
to teach news literacy while demonstrating what distinguishes
quality journalism. NLP’s experts establish the core skills and
concepts of news literacy education and introduce teaching tools.
Most importantly, NewsLitCamp builds a greater understanding
between educators and journalists that enhances the appreciation
of the vital civic role each plays in our democracy.
