A collection of musicians and old college friends playing accessible Jazz,
the basement collective were formed in a Studio Basement in the depths
of Yorkshire in late 2023.
Paul’s overwhelming desire to return to music after raising four children
and a working cocker led to a phone call to Jim Corry in a service station
drinking overpriced coffee at 1am. Life has since returned to normal
searching for gigs/venues and radio support.
The band have now tracked their Debut Ep consisting of unique
arrangements of standards as well as original material which is due to
be released in 2025.
