Troubleshooting Guide
Refrigerator:
If your refrigerator is not cooling, and you have checked into the cabin recently
and/or just recently stocked an empty refrigerator with groceries, please ensure
that the refrigerator thermostat or temperature controls are set to the middle
setting. For example, setting number 5 if given the range of 1 to 9. Then, be
sure to keep the refrigerator door closed as much as possible. Typically, the
refrigerator works properly, but it can take up to 24 hours to cool the contents
and its interior. Be sure to keep the temperature dials or buttons at a middle
setting to prevent the cooling tunnel from freezing up and creating a longer
wait time, or possibly causing damage to the refrigerator. It is also critical to
keep the doors closed as much as possible since cool air descends rapidly.
Each time the doors are opened, the cooler air falls out of the refrigerator and
is refilled with warm air, and the refrigerator must start the cooling process all
over again.
To verify that the refrigerator is working correctly and only needs more time to
re-cool, you can check the freezer section. Most of the time, if the freezer
