REMOTE POWER PACKS
The walk-in cooler and power pack are usually located in one of the hottest areas - the kitchen. The higher
ambient temperature in the kitchen area puts additional demand on the glycol chiller to work properly maintaining
temperature. Utilizing a remote (split deck) power pack enables you to place the compressor in a cooler location,
where it can get proper ventilation - either inside or outside the building. The glycol bath then is located near the
walk-in cooler where the beer kegs are.
NEW!
NOTE: INSTALLING THE REMOTE POWER PACK
Remote Power Packs must be installed by a qualied
refrigeration technician, copper line set, drier, sight glass and
refrigerant must be provided by installer. The condensing unit
needs to be hard wired and the bath has a cord and plug.
