Linda Farrell from Whittemore, IA said, Working for the people of
your hometown is the BEST job you could ever possibly have!
Linda is a 8fourth generation9 Whittemore resident. Her Parents
were Kenneth 8Kenny9 and Florence (Kollasch) Farrell. They were
both born and raised in the community she loves to call home.
Her parents taught her the importance and value of having a
good work ethic, and she9s subscribed to that motto her entire
working career.
Linda is a graduate of Bishop Garrigan High School (Class of 1976) and the American Institute of Business (AIB) in Des
Moines. It was an easy position for her to find pride in when she became the Whittemore City Clerk in 1989 after
working part-time as the deputy City Clerk to Wilma Roeber.
