This free two-day kite festival has grown to become one of
the most popular annual events on the East Yorkshire
coast and in 2025 celebrates its 10th anniversary. From
enormous 昀氀ying frogs to sky-high snakes, large leaping
lizards to a whopping whale and huge cute teddy bears,
dozens of exotic in昀氀atable kites will add a splash of colour
to the cliff tops above Bridlington. Watch professional
demonstrations and popular parachuting teddy bear drop
sessions. There will also be a wide choice of street food,
drink stalls, fairground rides, and children’s face painting.
