Health Surveillance
Health surveillance is a scheme of repeated health checks which are used to
identify ill health caused by work. Health Surveillance is required by law.
Our Health Surveillance services can be conducted at our clinics or on-site at
your business, from one of our fully equipped mobile medical units. This
means you can book your health surveillance checks knowing that there will
be minimal impact upon your working day.

WHY IS WORKPLACE HEALTH SURVEILLANCE NEEDED?
Supports risk assessments (particularly when working with COSHH).
Monitors an employees health throughout their tenure at the company
and will help identify any potential deterioration in health and risks early
Ensures exposure to working environments (e.g. Noise, dust etc) is not
having a harmful or detrimental effect on an employee’s health
Detects any reduction in employee health early and helps to prevent it
getting worse
Enables control measures to be put in place (e.g. Face-fitted masks)
Highlights failures in workplace health measures (e.g. Extraction or
