11Our work withWomen in Banking and FinanceWe are proud to have worked in partnership with thenot-for-profit, Women in Banking & Finance (WIBF).WIBF has been championing women in financialservices for 40 years and it has been our honour to helpthem achieve their goals of increasing the number offemale professionals in the financial services sector.Recently, we worked with them on a great project:Name of programme: Accelerating Change Together (“ACT”)Participating entities: WIBF & the London School of Economics(LSE)Goal: The programme was the UK’s first cross-sector researchprogramme designed to highlight the UK financial servicesindustry’s pressing gender inclusion challenges. The aim wasto provide actionable recommendations to better retain andpromote women in the financial services workforce.Challenge: WIBF and LSE needed support recruiting seniorgrade professionals from across our specialist markets to beinterviewed for the programme.Outcome of Barclay Simpson’s involvement: Our specialistconsultant teams delivered 26 senior governance and cyberprofessionals who contributed to the success of the finalreport. You can read the full report here, as well as coveragein the FT.Ongoing support for WIBF and LSEWe are working with the WIBF and LSE to support them inrecruiting professionals from our network to be interviewed byLSE for further research on a report examining the link betweendiversity and productivity.
