IÕve been researching and writing about Florida
dark money PACs for nearly ten years. IÕve
never seen a non-proÞt corporation conßated
with a political committee. This is a misleading
move which creates more ambiguity about who
is funding political PACs.
The non-existent Serious Conservatives C4 is
not a valid Florida political committee nor a
valid Florida non-proÞt. The Department of
State apparently has no mechanism in place to
authenticate donating entities and ßag sham
political committees or organizations.
ÒConservativesÓ has received $2,125,000 from
developer Pat Neal, and $62,500 from aûliates
of developer Carlos Beruû.
