and beyond. Dating back to at least 1233, this Grade I
Listed Building is steeped in heritage. Inside, visitors can
admire features like the ‘Knights of Danbury’ wooden effigies and the Victorian interior designed by Gilbert Scott
in 1866, which includes intricate pew end carvings.

replace aging boards with high-quality, low-maintenance
ones.
We spoke with Alex Cooper, a PCC member of St John
the Baptist, about why they chose Greenbarnes for their
noticeboard project and how the company assisted them.
With a passion for preserving the church's heritage while
enhancing its functionality, Alex took on the task of
updating the church's outdoor noticeboards.
